On Monday, September 5th, 2011 Trans Coastal Supply, Prairie Creek Grain, Prairie Creek Logistics, and the Illinois farming community lost a great young businessman, merchandiser, and farmer. Although it is with great sadness that we tell of the passing of Thomas P. Jeschke, it has been both an honor and a privilege to have worked with him.
Thomas had a great many loves but the first and most important being his family. His eyes would always light up at the mention of his family and of farming. The values learned from working side by side with his parents, on the family farm, carried over in everything else in his life. He was a very honest, compassionate man who touched the lives of many. The Trans Coastal Supply, Prairie Creek Grain and Prairie Creek Logistics families all feel very fortunate to have had an opportunity to work along side Thomas. His intensity for the business, for family and life carried over to all of us. His quiet, easy going manner will be missed by all. Private funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011
Following the interment at Ward Cemetery, the family will receive friends and family at their farm, 2650 W. Prairie Road, Mazon. Friends may gather any time after 2 p.m. A time of remembrance for Thomas will begin at 4 p.m., with dinner to be available following the time of sharing. The family plans to create an endowment in Thomas's memory for the Seneca High School FFA Chapter and would encourage memorial gifts in his memory to be directed to the "Seneca FFA at First Midwest Bank."
